Q: Can I print out the templates on my printer?
A: Yes, that’s the idea – you print them out and use them to draw round the beer cases before cutting out and assembling your hat. Due to size restrictions of printer paper, you will have to join the pages up to make the template but that’s a one-off.

Q: How many hats can I make from the templates?
A: As many as you wish, the templates are re-useable. We recommend if you are going to make a lot of hats from one template, that you make a cardboard template from the printout first.

Q: Are there different sized templates in the eBook?
A: Yes, templates are included for adults and children in a number of stepped-sizes. There is also a section on hat-sizing to help you choose the correct template for your head size.

Q: The hat I've made is smaller than what I measured for. What has gone wrong?
A: You have likely had a printing issue at the template-making stage. Check the dimesions of the printed paper templates as noted in the eBook section 'Checking the Dimensions of the Templates'.
